Glenn Ryszko
About the artist
Born in 1986 and raised in The Netherlands. Currently studying at the Institute of Sonology in Den Haag where I focus on electronic music composition.
My name is Glenn Ryszko. I studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Maastricht, from 2008 until 2009 where I explored my visual abilities. Currently I live in Den Haag where I study electronic music at the Institute of Sonology. Some of my teachers include Kees Tazelaar, Johan van Kreij and Paul Berg.
I am interested in working with magnetic tape, analog devices and computers. My works explore the world of contrast, tension and dynamics and I focus on layers and varieties of textures.
My sound material is organized into groups in order to form individual clusters. Eventually, these clusters form my compositions.
